Description This record follows the paved trail up to the Royal Arch Trail to the Third Flatiron Trail to the Regular East Face Route (8 pitches, 5.2). Now climb the face to the summit and descend by any means or route back to the start.

There are two records for this route. One is completely unsupported. The other involves a fixed rappel line from the summit of the Third down to the ground. This is the format used in Satan's Minions Third Flatiron Race series.
Note: This rock is almost always closed for falcon nesting from Feb. 1st through July 31st.
