Start Varies depending upon course, but the classic time trial course starts at the Baseline Trail at Chautauqua Park
Finish The summit, but this isn't obvious. Runners frequently stop their watch at the highest point of the trail. I always go to where the brass mountain marker is located (about 8 seconds further and up some scrambling). The real summit is actually a bit north of here (20 feet or so), but no one really times it to there and most haveprobably never been to the true summit.

Total Mileage ~3 miles for the Time Trial Course
Description Time Trial Course: Start at Chautauqua Park and follow the Baseline Trail, but the Ski Hill and over to the Amphitheater Trail (there is a little descent down to this junction). Follow the Amphitheater Trail up to the Saddle Rock Trail (go left) and follow that to the Greenman Trail (there is a descent getting over to here as well). Turn left on Green
